Dilled Tuna Salad recipe
I love this tuna salad because it is very fresh and herbaceous. It has a lemony base dressing and lots of fresh dill. This is best served on a warm summer's day especially with a cold glass of sauvignon blanc. Makes 2 cups.
Ingredients:
- 2 can oil packed yellow fin tuna
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- juice of two lemons
- 1/4 cup chopped dill, about 1 bunch
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 6 leaves butterhead lettuce, chopped
Directions:
In a medium bowl combine all the ingredients except the lettuce and mix thoroughly.
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve atop a bed of lettuce.
